About

Hi, I'm Kim, and my two favorite activities are laughing until my cheeks hurt and staring longingly at beautiful objects. My mother always told me I must have been a magpie in a previous life; I'm drawn to bright and shiny things. You might be thinking: "What does that have to do with anything?" As a creative professional, I have enthusiasm for anything that I feel moved by, and I bring my love of all things beautiful to work with me. I think it really shows.

I studied Graphic Design in college and graduated with honors, earning my Bachelor of Science degree in May of 2006. I feel most at home creatively when surrounded by other designers and artistic personalities. I spend my downtime with my husband and adorable cat in and around the home we share in Salem, MA. I enjoy spending time exploring the downtown area, finding inspiration in my surroundings and soaking up the North Shore flavor.

Additionally, I enjoy creating jewelry, a skill I picked up while working as a jewelry design teacher and retail sales representative for a local bead shop while I searched for my dream design job. Shortly after starting work at the shop, I was promoted to Communications Manager where I remained until 2009. A well rounded and resourceful individual, I spent several years working in the banking industry until pivoting into my current role. As the sole designer at an auction house in Beverly, I have happily been honing my technical and creative skills daily since 2014.
